• We're in search of Node.js/Web developers to join our small, remote team. AdSorcery is a young startup building solutions for digital publishers to recover lost revenue from ad blocking. We are funded by Houston Technology Center and the McNair Foundation.

Our technology stack consists of Node.js, JQuery, Bootstrap, NoSQL and Redis. You need to be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where you are responsible for taking on projects and managing them from start to finish.

o Develop. Write code, build systems and devise solutions. Do your own research and come up with solutions with loose (at best) direction.
o Collaborate. Engage with team leaders and other developers. Work well with a team of 3 to 5 members.
o Take ownership. Take pride in the work you do, and hold yourself accountable for the success of the team. As a remote team, we're all incredibly self-motivated to work on the things we enjoy. Remote meeting with team 2-3 times a week.

o A solid understanding of JavaScript (Jquery), CSS (Bootstrap) and HTML5
o At least one year of experience working with Node.js
o Have experience with Cassandra or other NoSQL databases
o Solid experience in modern responsive web UI’s that work beautifully across different devices.
o Strong knowledge of, and adherence to, coding best practices.
o Strong verbal and written communication skills.

o Salary: $1000-$1400/month (Dependent on experience)
o Year-end bonus (Up to 200% monthly salary plus much more based on how awesome you are!)
o Short and long-term international (US & EU) training and work at Houston Technology Center.
o Work remotely / Schedules are flexible—you work when you're in flow, from wherever you wish.
o Opportunities for H1B Visa Sponsoring as the company grow.
o Opportunities to work with international experts and many cool startup entrepreneurs.

    How to Apply:

To better understand what we do at AdSorcery, here is a solution we are helping our clients: Allowing web visitors to take screenshots certain part of the website and submit them to the webmasters. How will you implement it? It’s the kind of things we tackle at AdSorcery.

Does this sound interesting? If yes, please send a short email to [email protected] telling us about yourself and impress us. If you have any existing open source software that you've developed (these could be your own software or patches to other packages), please share the URLs for the source. Links to GitHub, prior projects, etc. are exceptionally useful. Let us know and show off your technical chops.
